The mathematical model of the materials microwave drying technological process is constructed. The stages of optimisation of superhigh-frequency heating are defined. The parameters of an optimal operating practices of drying of beechwood and apricot that allow to preserve the properties of the feedstock were worked out on the results of modelling of a microwave source influence on material. The solution of the problem is gained in the analytical view and it corresponds to the engineering calculations.
